Master Trainer and Vrikshayurveda Expert
The workshop will be led by Shri P. G. Krishnakumar, a distinguished authority on Vrikshayurveda. With over three decades of service in the Kerala Agriculture Department, he has made pioneering contributions to sustainable farming practices, including being the architect of the department’s celebrated “Vilvadri” organic rice cultivation initiative. Author of two books on Vrikshayurveda (in Malayalam and English), he brings deep scholarly insight along with practical field expertise. Honoured with the Karshakamitra award in 2008 as the best agriculture officer, he also provided technical leadership to the state’s first Vrikshayurveda-based product, Amakkavu Nadan Kuthari, launched in 2016. Currently a Master Trainer with the Department of Agriculture, Shri Krishnakumar’s blend of academic authority, practical wisdom, and training excellence makes him uniquely suited to lead this workshop and guide participants in rediscovering and applying the ancient science of plant care for farming and wellness.
